Morris Catholic's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mia Pauldo, who shot 5-for-7 from long range and dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten assists. Pauldo is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last four games she's played. Mya Pauldo was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with seven steals and five assists.
Morris Catholic's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 45 points. As for Pequannock, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morris Catholic will square off against Long Island Lutheran on Saturday. As for Pequannock, they will head out on the road to square off against Villa Walsh Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Villa Walsh Academy's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so Pequannock's offense will have their work cut out for them.
