Softball Recap: Temple City Wins Going Away Against San Marino

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glendora, Temple City was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the San Marino Titans. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Temple City has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for San Marino, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Temple City will challenge rival La Canada at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, San Marino is set to face off against their familiar foe Monrovia at 3:30 p.m. on the 15th.
