The Jesuit Tigers will face off against the Clearwater Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jesuit knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Clearwater likes a good challenge.
Jesuit is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past East Bay 78-51. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 23 points or more this season.

Jesuit's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Carter Reins, who went 8 for 9 en route to 21 points and six rebounds, and Tyler Caouette, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, Caouette is now averaging an impressive 8.1 boards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Morty Hanlon, who posted nine points and five assists.
Meanwhile, Clearwater lost to St. Petersburg on the road by a 76-61 margin on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their matchups with the Green Devils: they've now lost eight in a row.
Jesuit will need to focus on slowing down Kyden Heniger, one of several Clearwater players who made an impact when they last played. He had 18 points along with five assists and four steals. That's the most steals Heniger has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Keshawn Andrews, who earned 15 points and three blocks.
Jesuit is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points over those games. As for Clearwater, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Jesuit has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 28.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Clearwater struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Jesuit strolled past Clearwater when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 58-41. Will Jesuit repeat their success, or does Clearwater have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
