The Orange Grove Bulldogs lost against the West Oso Bears back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Orange Grove was outmatched by West Oso on the road and fell 76-33. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Orange Grove in their matchups with West Oso: they've now lost five in a row.
West Oso got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Milauni Williams out in front who scored 29 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. Williams is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of malaigha sweats, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Orange Grove has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for West Oso, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.
Orange Grove will be home for the holidays to greet Jones at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jones is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for West Oso, they will head out on the road to face off against Sinton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sinton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1238th, while West Oso is ranked 313th).
