If the Tri-Valley Warriors were feeling good off their 73-46 takedown of the Tanalian Lynx last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Tri-Valley suffered a rough 74-52 loss at the hands of Minto on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Tri-Valley has suffered against Minto since January 22, 2022.
Andrew David was his usual excellent self, scoring 42 points for Minto. As a matter of fact, that's the most points David has scored all season. Jeff Frank was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Tri-Valley now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Minto, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.
Tri-Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Minto will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Unalakleet at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
