Even though the Charleston Trojans have not done well against the Robinson Maroons recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Charleston had just enough and edged Robinson out 51-48. For Charleston, this counts as revenge for the 78-62 defeat Robinson walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Charleston's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adam Rudibaugh led the charge by scoring 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rudibaugh has scored at least 25% of Charleston's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Oakley, who scored 12 points.
Charleston's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Robinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
