Asbury Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 70-56 bruising from Academy Charter. One positive for the Bishops, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Asbury Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Academy Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Asbury Park will host Central Jersey College Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Academy Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against American History at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. American History is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58 points per game this season.
