Kermit's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaden Bejarano, who scored 17 points along with three steals. Bejarano is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Julian Saenz, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Kermit's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Jal, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Kermit will take on Wink at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wink comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Jal, they will take on Farwell at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
