Huntingdon scaled the state rankings by moving to 425 from 489 this week, the biggest jump in Mountain. The Bearcats were able to move up by topping Penns Valley Area 34-28.
Clearfield added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Central Mountain, 49-13. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Christian Lezzer provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Clearfield beat the Wildcats. He completed 5 passes for 137 yards and also ran for 134 yards. Lezzer's favorite target this week was Tyler Stratton, who caught 3 passes for 95 yards.
Erik Wagner and James Oliver gave Tyrone a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Wagner threw for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Oliver ran for 165 yards. Teammate Aleic Hunter added to the ground attack by rushing for 51 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Cameron Tobias of the Rams is the league leader in passing yards this season with 696. He has also thrown 7 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Bradi Moore. The Central star has 16 catches for 277 yards.
The Golden Eagles are in second place, while Bald Eagle Area is in fourth place.
Huntingdon and Penns Valley Area played the most contested game in the league this week, with Huntingdon eventually emerging with a 34-28 victory. Devon Claar ran for 151 yards and caught 1 pass for 47 yards during the win.
