Adding to the longest winning streak in VI Section III (8 Man) this week, Salome beat Valley Union 16-8. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Frogs.
Bagdad took down NFL Yet Academy 64-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. tony Jauregui threw for 244 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Sultans' Jauregui and James Loveall have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-8 quarterback Jauregui has thrown for 790 yards this season, while Loveall has 17 catches for 404 yards. John Hill from Salt River leads the league in rushing with 589 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Salome and Bagdad. Mike O'Boyle's team comes into the matchup ranked eighth in the state, while the Sultans ranks first.
