Broadway took an ego-bruising loss against Spotswood two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back on Friday. Broadway took down Fort Defiance 28-13.
Broadway's offense had trouble getting into gear in the first half and closed the half with six points. Fort Defiance countered with seven points to make it 6-7 going into the half. The other side of the ball was dominant for Broadway in the second half, holding Fort Defiance to a measly 6 points.
Next week Broadway take on Waynesboro at 7:00 PM. Waynesboro are limping into the match on a nine-game losing streak. Fort Defiance will be playing at home against Harrisonburg at at 7:00 PM. Harrisonburg have averaged 44.2 points over the course of their past three games, so Fort Defiance might be in for a challenge.
