The St. Joseph's Catholic Knights posted their biggest victory since December 22, 2023 on Friday. They blew past High Point Academy 52-32. With St. Joseph's Catholic ahead 27-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Leading St. Joseph's Catholic to victory were Harper Greer and Evie Adams. Greer scored nine points along with 11 rebounds, while Adams scored 17 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Tiffany Helmer, who scored eight points along with four steals.
St. Joseph's Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for High Point Academy, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 14-7.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Christ Church Episcopal the next time they take the court. High Point Academy will head out to face Christ Church Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while St. Joseph's Catholic will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
