The R.A. Long Lumberjacks''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 49-14 loss at the hands of Mark Morris. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for R.A. Long in their matchups with Mark Morris: they've now lost six in a row.
Nick Niday threw for 146 yards on 16 of 36 attempts. Devon Harris was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards.
R.A. Long's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. As for Mark Morris, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
R.A. Long will head out on the road to face off against Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Heritage is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Mark Morris does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
