Kennewick got a great performance from  Arianna Ames as she  struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits (and not a single walk). Ames has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Rylee Bendewald, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alayna Goodnight, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.

Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for University, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-8 record  this season.
