The Springfield Wildcats will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against the Sidney Yellowjackets at 5:00  p.m.
 Springfield will head into Friday's  contest ready to turn things around: they lost a close one when they played  on Tuesday but unfortunately for them the  defeat they were handed  on Friday was a bit more commanding. They lost  18-0 to Troy.
 Meanwhile, Sidney can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Chaminade Julienne Catholic  and snuck past  4-3.
  Michael Frazier tossed a big game,   striking out seven batters over  6.2 innings while giving up  three earned runs off   five  hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Sidney's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Elijah Cotterman, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Springfield dropped their record down to 6-15 with that  loss, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Sidney, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.
 Everything went Springfield's way against Sidney in their previous meeting  back in May of 2022 as Springfield made off with  a  13-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Springfield since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
