The Lone Peak Big Horns won the last time they faced the Gardiner Bruins, and things went their way on Saturday too. Lone Peak blew past Gardiner 82-50 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lone Peak.
Despite the loss, Gardiner still got an impressive performance from Parker Wyman, who shot 4-for-4 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 23 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Herrera, who scored 11 points.
Lone Peak's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Gardiner, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Lone Peak will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. As for Gardiner, they will face off against Twin Bridges at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
