Deer Park got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Emily Ripley out in front who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Deer Park pushed their record up to 13-13 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Deer Park will head out on the road to square off against Dobie at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dobie will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 957th, while Deer Park is ranked 445th). As for South Houston, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Pasadena at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
