Beulah is a perfect 3-0 against Hazen since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Miners will head out on the road to square off against the Bison at 4:30 p.m. One thing working in Beulah's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
13 must be Beulah's lucky number: they beat Washburn with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Miners beat the Cardinals by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-2. The victory continues a trend for the Miners in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won five in a row.

Addie Dale-Geiger made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 runs per game.
In other batting news, Beulah let Peyten Horning and Cassie Christensen run wild. Horning got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Christensen got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs. Another player making a difference was Elli Weidner, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple.
Beulah always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .529 or higher in five consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Hazen fell victim to Velva/Drake/Anamoose and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 24-0 to the Aggies. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Bison's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Beulah's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Hazen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Beulah hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .371. However, it's not like Hazen struggles in that department as they've averaged .482. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Beulah took their win against Hazen in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 21-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Miners since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
