Chisholm Trail suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were outmatched by Boswell at home and fell 80-19. While losing is never fun, Chisholm Trail can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 857th, while Boswell is ranked 12th).
In what's become a running theme this season, Bell gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past Trinity 52-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Bell has posted against Trinity since January 28, 2020.
Chisholm Trail bumped their record down to 3-19 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Bell, their victory bumped their record up to 27-1.
Chisholm Trail took a serious blow against Bell in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 64-31. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Chisholm Trail was down 42-12.
