 In other batting news, North Raleigh Christian Academy got a  massive  performance out of  Kelsey Knox, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Taylor Gardener, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, their win was  their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-1.
 St. Mary's will take on Durham Academy at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. St. Mary's is facing Durham Academy at the right time seeing as Durham Academy is stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they will play host again  on Monday to welcome Freedom Christian Academy, where first pitch is scheduled  at 6:00  p.m. Both teams will come into the  contest having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes.
