The St. Joseph Central Irish made easy work of the Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders on Saturday and carried off an 11-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Irish, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

St. Joseph Central let Brody Runyon and Brayden McDowell run wild. Runyon went 2-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base, while McDowell went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs Runyon has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Watts, who went 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: St. Joseph Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Greater Beckley Christian only managed five hits.

St. Joseph Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Greater Beckley Christian, they moved to 12-9 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
