The Kings Knights won the last time they faced the Milford Eagles, and things went their way on Monday too. Kings put the hurt on Milford with a sharp 73-52 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kings.
Despite the loss, Milford still got an impressive performance from Violet Shuluga, who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds. Shuluga scored a full 36.5% of Milford's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Cayden Smith, who scored 13 points.
Kings' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Milford, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Kings will head out on the road to face off against Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Milford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Loveland at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
