The Brook Hill Guard can now show off 18 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They breezed by Covenant at home to the tune of 57-15. The victory was familiar territory for Brook Hill who now have eight in a row.
Brenna Hill was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. It was the first time this season that she pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Savannah Onley, who scored 19 points along with two steals.
Brook Hill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season. As for Covenant, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brook Hill will take on Vanguard College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brook Hill is coming into the match with three straight victories at home, meaning Vanguard College Prep will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. Covenant will take on Prince of Peace at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Covenant comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last 11 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
