Highland was led to victory by Nick Reber and Michael Johnson. Reber scored 11 points, while Johnson scored 15 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Ty Crandall, who scored eight points.
Gilbert has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season. As for Highland, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
