Lee County dropped down to 7-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They received a  blow  as they fell  42-28 to the Houston County Bears. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in November of 2024.
As for Houston County, their win was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-1. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their seven-point performance the  matchup before.
 Houston County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Mj Mathis, who picked up 131 receiving yards and a pair of  TDs.  Colin Anderson handled things on the ground, rushing for 119 yards and a  rushing touchdown.
As of now, neither Lee County nor Houston County have any future games scheduled.
