Solomon lost to Canton-Galva back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Solomon Gorillas snuck past the Canton-Galva Eagles with a 58-52 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gorillas.

Solomon's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Canton-Galva, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Solomon will host Herington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Solomon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Canton-Galva, they will be playing at home against Goessel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Canton-Galva is facing Goessel at the right time seeing as Goessel is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
