Brody Metting Delivers Electric Effort Vs Pettus
Starting off the list is Yorktown's Brody Metting, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Metting rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Yorktown, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Metting's next matchup is against Charlotte on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Tyler Pawelek Delivers Best Effort of Season
Falls City was led to victory by Tyler Pawelek, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Pawelek rushed for 109 yards and four touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory (which was Falls City's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Pawelek and Falls City will head out to square off against Shiner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mckenzie Yanta Crosses Big Stat Threshold
The second Yorktown player making an appearance here is Mckenzie Yanta, and for good reason. He rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (100.7). His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 120 rushing yards.
This year, Yanta has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 100.7 rushing yards per game.

Falls City Gets a Boost from Johnson in 48-7 Win
Another Falls City player making an appearance on this list is Braylon Johnson. He rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 53 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Louise's probably not too fond of Johnson given he always seems to get the better of them. When Johnson last faced the Hornets back in October of 2023, he rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 112 yards on only eight passes.

Rylan Rau and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
Yorktown picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Rylan Rau. Rau turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making eight total tackles (4.0 for loss).
For the year, Rau has averaged 5.8 total tackles per game and for the season has 3 sacks.
