Poquoson has been on the road for three straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the York Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
Poquoson suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2023 on Friday. They were outmatched by Jamestown on the road and fell 69-41. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Poquoson in their matchups with Jamestown: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite their defeat, Poquoson saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Dominic Galacgac, who scored ten points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Dayne Galacgac, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, York didn't have too much trouble with Warhill at home on Friday as they won 51-36. The victory was just what York needed coming off of a 70-36 loss in their prior match.
Poquoson's loss was their ninth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for York, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
Poquoson might still be hurting after the 56-34 loss they got from York in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Poquoson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
