Meanwhile, there's no place like home for John Battle, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Central Wise on Monday. John Battle haven't had any issues with Central Wise recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Gate City's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven matches. As for John Battle, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8-1.
