The Bishop Fenwick Falcons will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Beavercreek Beavers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
On Wednesday, Bishop Fenwick made easy work of Archbishop Alter and carried off a 12-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Sulesky Evelyn was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-5.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Myles Carolyn, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-5. Another player making a difference was Marra Coyle, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Bishop Fenwick kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Beavercreek got the win against Carlisle on Wednesday by a conclusive 11-1.
Like Bishop Fenwick, Beavercreek also got a great game from a two-way player: Viera Barrett. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Barrett was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
In other pitching news, Kayla Gard looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.
Back at the plate, Brylee Greene was a standout: she scored two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Olivia Blackmore was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Bishop Fenwick now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Beavercreek, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
