 Meanwhile, Lincoln-Way Central came tearing into  Saturday's  contest with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   5-1  win over the Dolphins.
  Josephine Jager made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. Jager was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Teagan Berkshire was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Stagg's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 3-13. As for Lincoln-Way Central, their win bumped their record up to 18-4.
