MTI School of Knowledge couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a rough 59-8 loss at the hands of Union. MTI School of Knowledge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-5.
Union's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kenzy Ogden led the charge by scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Ogden continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Glory Ellis, who scored 10 points.
MTI School of Knowledge's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Union, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MTI School of Knowledge will take on Phalen Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union, they will be playing at home against Anderson Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
