After a string of nine wins, the Minto Lakers's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 73-48 walloping at the hands of Chugiak. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Minto has scored all season.

Minto's loss ended a 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-1. As for Chugiak, their victory ended a eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.
Minto will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Lumen Christi on January 13th. Lumen Christi is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Chugiak, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dimond at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
