Arapahoe lost against Cherokee Trail back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Arapahoe saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Lew, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Lew's first of the season.

Arapahoe's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Cherokee Trail, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

While Arapahoe had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
