The biggest upset of the week belonged to Clopton/Elsberry, who took down 283rd ranked Bowling Green, 40-20. Jack Hicks threw for 112 yards and ran for 208 yards in the win.
North Callaway extended the longest winning streak in Eastern Missouri this week by beating Wright City, 55-21. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Evan Milner put up the best numbers through the air as Montgomery County defeated Van-Far. He finished with six completions for 131 yards and three touchdowns. Milner's favorite target this week was Dylan Skeens, who caught two passes for 72 yards.
Charles Fraction was the best wideout in the league this week as the Hawks topped the Bobcats. Fraction tallied three receptions for 74 yards. Rahiem Porter helped Clopton/Elsberry's passing attack out by catching two balls for 22 yards.
Clopton/Elsberry's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hicks has thrown for 868 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Fraction has 22 catches for 494 yards. Hicks also leads the league in rushing with 541 yards.
A big matchup in Eastern Missouri this week will be when North Callaway takes on the Indians. As it stands, Mike Emmons's team is in first, while Van-Far is in fourth.
The Thunderbirds led the league in scoring this week after putting up 55 points on the Wildcats. Jacob Haubner threw for 74 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 25 yards in the win.
