The Lemoore Tigers had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They blew past Tulare Western 29-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Lemoore, who have now won six contests by 25 points or more so far this season.
Lemoore can attribute much of their success to Dameion Hernandez, who rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
Lemoore's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30 points. As for Tulare Western, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Lemoore will head out on the road to face off against Hanford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hanford's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last five matchups. As for Tulare Western, they will be playing at home against Tulare Union at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
