S & S Consolidated has enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Bridgeport Bulls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully S & S Consolidated focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Saturday.
S & S Consolidated pushed their score all the way to 58, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were dealt a 89-58 defeat at the hands of Colbert. The contest was a close 38-36 at the break, but unfortunately for S & S Consolidated it sure didn't stay that way.
Despite the defeat, S & S Consolidated saw an underclassman step up: Joe Orr scored 27 points along with 3 steals. Orr scored a full 46.6% of S & S Consolidated's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caiden Jones, who scored 4 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Bridgeport was able to grind out a solid win over Calvary Academy on Saturday, taking the game 55-43. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bridgeport.
The losses dropped S & S Consolidated to 3-7 and Colbert to 5-3.
