Several Vikings players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ki Blanchat, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Taylor Campbell, who scored 17 points.
Smoky Valley has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Hillsboro, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-5.
