After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oak Grove Classical Academy, Magdalena was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Animas Panthers 3-0. The Steers were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Panthers, so the Steers were just returning the favor.

While Magdalena won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 25-13.

Magdalena is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Animas, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Magdalena has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Oak Grove Classical Academy on the 20th. As for Animas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against San Simon on the 18th.
