There's no place like home for Crosby, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the West Fork Gators on Friday as Crosby made off with a 14-2 win. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by eight runs or more this season.

Crosby is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. West Fork's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-11.

Crosby has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Dayton on the 25th. As for West Fork, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-8 victory against New Caney on the 25th.
