The Crismon Rattlers will challenge the Prescott Badgers at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Crismon knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Prescott likes a good challenge.
On Thursday, Crismon got the win against ALA - Gilbert North by a conclusive 16-1. Considering the Rattlers have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Alexis Galvez looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kyleigh Nekula, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Alee Grace Trunell was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one RBI.
Crismon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in eight consecutive games.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Prescott and Flagstaff had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Badgers lost 15-7 to the Eagles on Thursday.
Mariah Smolnikar made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Those home runs marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly James, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Crismon is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Prescott, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
Friday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Crismon hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .444. However, it's not like Prescott struggles in that department as they've averaged .315. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
