Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Evergreen Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Camryn Hackney, who scored 14 points along with 6 assists and 3 steals. Hackney is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now blocked two or more in the last three games she's played. Camryn Bullet was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Dominion Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Evergreen Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.
Dominion Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fairfax HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on January 12, 2024. As for Evergreen Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Madeira at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
