The Dover Pirates will be home for the holidays to greet the Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dover will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings (they are ranked 236th, while Central Arkansas Christian is ranked 38th).
Last Tuesday, Dover suffered a rough 56-35 defeat at the hands of Lamar. Dover has not had much luck with Lamar recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Meanwhile, Central Arkansas Christian came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Maumelle Charter by a score of 62-50.
Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Central Arkansas Christian, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3.
