Inderkum is 10-0 against Roseville since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Inderkum Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Roseville Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Inderkum has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 603 points over their last seven matches.
Inderkum stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 92-69 margin over Antelope. Given Inderkum's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while Antelope is ranked 266th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Inderkum's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Butler, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Butler has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Siincere Hudson, who scored 16 points along with eight assists and three steals.
Meanwhile, Roseville earned a 51-43 victory over Bella Vista on Wednesday. The win was just what Roseville needed coming off of a 70-39 loss in their prior matchup.
Among those leading the charge was Clark Nielsen, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Ritter, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Inderkum is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Roseville, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Inderkum have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 25.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Roseville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.6 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything came up roses for Inderkum against Roseville in their previous matchup on January 5th as the team secured a 101-32 victory. With Inderkum ahead 58-18 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
