The Booker T. Washington Tornadoes won the last time they faced the Goleman Gators, and things went their way on Thursday too. Booker T. Washington blew past the Gators 76-47 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Booker T. Washington.
Leroy Lee Jr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jahmal David, who scored 14 points.
Despite the loss, Goleman had strong showings from Albert Guerra, who scored nine points, and Khimari Hudson, who scored five points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Frudrias Porter, who scored eight points.
Booker T. Washington has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season. As for Goleman, they dropped their record down to 6-15 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Booker T. Washington will face off against the Golden Hawks at TBD on Tuesday. As for Goleman, they will square off against the Firebirds at TBD on Tuesday. Doral Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Gators in Florida (the Firebirds are ranked 231st, while the Gators are ranked 653rd).
