It was a good run, but Morgan unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 15-1 to the Union Cougars. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Morgan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kanyon Leonelli, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Leonelli has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

Morgan's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-4. As for Union, their record now sits at 13-4.

While Morgan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
