Cornerstone Charter's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaylen Williamson, who scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 steals, and Maloree Walthaw who scored 1 points along with 10 rebounds and 5 steals. Williamson scored a full 64.7% of Cornerstone Charter's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Clover Garden School found their leader in underclassman Hanna Tickle, who scored 9 points along with 8 steals and 5 rebounds. Tickle is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emery Kate Webster, who scored 13 points.
Cornerstone Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Clover Garden School, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Cornerstone Charter won't have much time to rest: their next game is against River Mill at 5:30 p.m. on November 29th. River Mill comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Clover Garden School, they will head out on the road to face off against Bethany at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bethany is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
