It was a good run, but the Hawthorne Christian Academy Hawks unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost to Richard Winn Academy on the road by a decisive 59-40 margin.
Brinson Baker had a dynamite game for Richard Winn Academy, scoring 11 points along with six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Meagan Brigman, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Hawthorne Christian Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-1. As for Richard Winn Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Hawthorne Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Richard Winn Academy will stay at home for another game and welcome the Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on February 5th.
