The Cleburne Yellowjackets will be playing at home against the Seguin Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Cleburne, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-53 loss to Mansfield Timberview. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cleburne in their matchups with Mansfield Timberview: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Seguin pushed their score all the way to 62 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mansfield Timberview. While losing is never fun, Seguin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 328th, while Mansfield Timberview is ranked 89th).
Cleburne dropped their record down to 5-23 with that loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Seguin, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-14.
Cleburne might still be hurting after the 80-56 loss they got from Seguin when the teams last played back in January. Will Cleburne have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
