Murdock are packing up and heading on the road for their first away contest this season. They face off against Gardner on Friday at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
There's no need to mince words: Murdock lost to Oxford last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 8-43. Murdock's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-48, which was the final score in Gardner's tilt against Quabbin Regional.
Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous matchup, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
